DMB Live Trax Vol. 70: 08/13/2005 - SBC Park

On August 13, 2005 Dave Matthews Band opened night two at SBC Park with fan favorite #41. Now that thirty years have passed since the songs inception, nothing sounds as iconic as Roi's masterful one note introductory sax line. The band nailed every song on this setlist with authority and grace, and the audience was 100% there for it. Stefan's fluid bass lines give songs like American Baby and Crash Into Me the air to feed Dave's flawless and fiery vocal deliveries. Special guests Rashwan Ross and Eric Krasno sit in to turn awesome jams into epic ones, as well as touring member Butch Taylor, who helps Dave bring it home with Steady As We Go, followed by a wicked What You Are to close the show. This is the sound of a band on a mission and it will be hard to stay seated for this one.CD1
